Mariand Torres is a powerhouse vocalist and acclaimed Broadway actress whose extraordinary range and dynamic performances span musical theatre, gospel, R&B, jazz, pop, and opera. An original Broadway cast member of Alicia Keys’ Grammy and Tony Award-winning musical *Hell’s Kitchen*, she originated the role of Millie in its Off-Broadway premiere and later served as the Broadway standby for Jersey; Sacramento audiences can experience the musical Hell’s Kitchen July 29–August 9 at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center. Mariand’s impressive credits also include *Wicked* as Elphaba, *Lempicka*, *Hadestown*, *In Transit*, and *Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812*, as well as appearances on *Law & Order: SVU*, *Madam Secretary*, and Hallmark Channel’s *Holiday Touchdown*.
