This is not an ordinary coaster: the ride will also have extra sound effects to dramatize when the car goes around a corner or gains elevation. Up, down and around aboard a car for four, passengers enjoy the Ex-scream coaster! The Ex-scream coaster manufactured by Pinfari will attract coaster enthusiasts. Vertigo

The Vertigo, manufactured by ARM, towers a full 100 feet in the air and seats 24 passengers. Each seat holds two riders who are secured by a lap restraint. Once the ride begins, the entire center twists in a circular motion. Riders enjoy a swinging sensation as the entire center track lifts up slowly until reaching the top of the ride. Once the swing ride reaches the top it begins to slowly swing in a descent.

Super Shot Drop Tower

Ride Tickets: 6

Unlike any other ride on our midway, the Super Shot brings a new dimension of thrill to carnival-goers. 12 passengers are loaded into each circular passenger station. Over-the-shoulder harnesses secure patrons while they are gently lifted up the 90-foot tower. Once the passenger station reaches the top, it is released in an accelerated freefall and riders experience G-Forces in excess of 3 1/2 times normal.

White Water Log Flume

The world-class White Water Flume Ride is a super-spectacular water ride. Unlike any other ride on our midway, the new White Water will bring a new dimension of thrills to carnival-goers. Logs hold two passengers each, and patrons make their way up two different hills. Once the log reaches the top, it descends rapidly, splashing at the bottom of the water slide, making the White Water an exciting, spectacular addition to the Butler midway!

Direct from Neverland Ranch, the California State Fair is the new home to Michael Jackson’s Bumper Cars. This legendary ride has been improved upon with a state-of-the-art laser light show, fog machine, and sound system. Ten Bumper cars have plenty of room to bump and dodge other drivers. This is a custom-built attraction and is one of a kind! Come and experience what few others have on the Neverland Bumper Cars only at the California State Fair.

General Rules

No casts, pregnant persons, nor intoxicated individuals allowed on rides.

Children who measure under 36″ in height cannot ride any carnival rides (except for Wet Boats & Tommy Kangaroo) and children who measure 36-48 inches tall can only ride a few select rides.

All riders must have either a ride wristband or carnival coupons.

Infants are not allowed on carnival rides.
