Every year at the California State Fair, thousands of animals are exhibited and most of them do not stay for the entire 17 days of the Fair.
For the safety of the animals, exhibitors and Fair-goers, the barns must be closed to allow the animals to leave and for staff to clean the barns for the arrival of new animals and new exhibitors.
On days the barns close early for animals and exhibitors to leave, some areas of the Fairgrounds may have limited access.
The barn will reopen the following morning when the Fair opens.
